: Prospects for the use of conditional cell reprogramming technology for rejuvenation of the lung tissue. D.E. Currently available drugs are not enough to successfully treat these age-related diseases. Additional measures are needed to increase the body's ability to regenerate lung tissue. One of the ways to achieve this goal can be the technology of conditional reprogramming of cells. So far, this technology has been successfully tested only for in vitro experiments. However, there are prerequisites to use this technology in vivo. This review focuses on the rationale for this approach based on available developments in this direction. : . . , . . . One of the most important conditions for a long and healthy life is the body's resistance to adverse external factors. An unprepared organism cannot effectively use the mechanisms of protection against stress. Aging is associated with the gradual attenuation of adaptation mechanisms, while a little stress can stimulate the bodys epigenetic defense mechanisms. In this review, we look at examples of hormesis a paradoxical increase in resilience and longevity in response to a weak source of stress. Knowledge of the molecular mechanisms that trigger hormesis can help in developing ways to prolong life.
